- FOX Factory Inc. products have a 1 - year limited warranty for material and workmanship defects. Modifying the product will void the warranty. This warranty is for the original retail buyer of an OEM - equipped vehicle and is valid for one year from the purchase date from an authorized dealer. It only covers repair or replacement of the product, and FOX Factory Inc. decides warranty issues.

It's designed to fit universally, so it should work with many different setups. When it comes to maintenance, since it's owner - serviceable and rebuildable, you can take it apart and do basic checks or repairs on your own. Use the JM92 MIL - SPEC oil specifically developed for off - road racing when you need to refill or change the oil. Keep in mind that the shock has a new proprietary Cerakote® ceramic coating over a zinc - plated base and a 17 - 4 H900 hard chrome - plated stainless steel shaft, so avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage these protective layers.
