This shock combines a race - developed piston, internal bypass, and Dual Speed Compression adjustment. You can fine - tune it according to your vehicle's weight, the terrain you're on, and your speed. Using this shock is quite straightforward. First, make sure it's the right fit for your vehicle. It's a universal fit, but double - check. Install it according to your vehicle's manual, attaching it at the eyelet mounts on the top and bottom. The shock has Dual Speed Compression adjustment, so you can fine - tune it for different weights, terrains, and speeds. Just turn the adjustment knobs carefully to get the perfect setting. When it comes to maintenance, the shock is owner - serviceable and rebuildable. Check the seals regularly, especially the redundant seals on the 7/8” shaft. The JM92 MIL - SPEC oil is designed for off - road racing, but it's a good idea to change it after a long period of use or if you've been in really tough conditions. Also, keep an eye on the new proprietary Cerakote® protective ceramic coating over the zinc - plated basecoat. If it gets damaged, it could affect the shock's performance. And don't forget to clean the black anodized CNC machined aluminum components from time to time to keep them in good shape.
