Using this shock is straightforward. First, make sure it's the right fit for your vehicle as it's a universal model. Install it with the top and bottom eyelets properly attached. You can adjust the shock according to your vehicle's weight, the terrain you'll be driving on, and your speed using the Dual Speed Compression adjustment. When it comes to maintenance, since it's owner - serviceable and rebuildable, you can do basic checks regularly. Check the seals on the 7/8” shafts to make sure they're in good condition. Also, keep an eye on the JM92 MIL - SPEC oil level. If you notice any leaks or if the shock doesn't perform as well as before, it might be time for a rebuild. Remember, this shock has a new proprietary Cerakote® protective ceramic coating, so avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage it.
